Digital Coordinator (Paid Summer Internship)

At Gözlemevi - Turkey's Observatory, we are a responsible technology organization dedicated to promoting freedoms and democracy in the digital era. Our flagship program, Algorithmic Empowerment, helps journalists enhance their skills to report on issues related to technology and democracy. We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy undergraduate intern to join our team as a Digital Coordinator for the summer.

Responsibilities:

As a Digital Coordinator, you will:

Manage and maintain our online platforms, including the website, social media channels, and digital content repositories.

Coordinate the creation, editing, and publishing of engaging digital content, including articles, videos, and social media posts.

Develop and implement strategies for growing our online presence and audience engagement.

Learn and adapt to new online communication tools, interfaces, and software to streamline our digital processes.

Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and coherence across all digital platforms.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in using online communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.

A fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new digital tools and interfaces.

Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Fluent in English and Turkish.
