Job Description: We are seeking a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging and conceptually compelling graphics that effectively communicate our research findings and insights to a wide audience, including academics, journalists, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce a wide range of digital and print materials, including reports, presentations, infographics, and marketing materials.
  • Work closely with our data analysts and content creators to translate complex data and concepts into clear, visually appealing graphics.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to ensure brand consistency across all visual outputs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest graphic design trends and technologies, applying innovative approaches to enhance our visual storytelling.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a research, tech, or news organization.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in various design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and a range of design styles and projects.
  • Excellent visual communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible and engaging manner.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail, ensuring all designs are visually appealing and free of errors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with non-design team members.
  • Proficiency in both English and Turkish is highly desirable.
