Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented part-time Policy Analyst to join our team at Gözlemevi. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology policies and governance, an understanding of the information flow in the internet, and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments in the field. Please note that applications without a demonstration of interest in technology policies and governance will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily analysis of technology governance policies at local, national, and international levels.
- Develop and prepare policy briefs, reports, and other content that clearly communicate complex policy issues and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and insights relevant to policy analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging issues, and policy developments in technology governance.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences to represent the organization and gather information relevant to our policy objectives.
- Contribute to the development of strategic policy initiatives and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Relevant experience or interest in policy analysis, research, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of technology policies, governance, and related issues.
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Gözlemevi.
- Native-level Turkish language skills.
